OPERATION HOPE IS THERE FOR YOU!

OPERATION: HOPE takes food, clothing, school items and fresh hope to kids and teens in the Greater Martinsburg region. The “Big White Truck” is stocked with what families are struggling to provide their children on a daily basis.  Instead of expecting people to “go to” and “wait forever” for what is usually a “no” to their needs, Operation Hope takes what people need right where they live.  But this is more than simply delivering goods. Operation Hope takes the time to care.  Ordinary people actually get involved in the lives of children and teens though such activities as:

Kid’s Explosion: We offer a high- energy weekly event of games, fun, tutoring and renewed hope right where children live and play.

Summer Kid’s: we take sports and the arts right to where kids are through basketball clinics, art mentoring, soccer skills camp and more!

Hope Centers: We establish Centers of Hope in high-density areas where individuals can meet with families for financial budget workshops, parenting classes, marriage counseling, and values-based training to help anchor people in relational, spiritual and emotional hope. This is not a handout, but a hand out of the mess all of us find ourselves in at times.

Christmas Extravaganza: Area singles and families adopt a struggling family to provide Christmas gifts and renewed hope during the holidays.

Technology Transformation: Living in the 21st Century means having 21st Century tools for success. Operation Hope gets these tools and the training needed to apply them so that no child or teen is left behind the technology curve.

Mobile Medical Clinic: We partner with the Good Sam Clinic to provide free medical care and check-ups through the Mobile Clinic Bus which takes free care to where people live.

Sanford 365: Operation Hope secures and freely delivers furniture, cribs, and other needed household items into area homes where the need is the greatest. Like the old TV show, Sanford and Sons, Operation Hope “delivers!”

Teen Club: We bring things for teens to do and a place to relate to their doorstep connecting them to people who care for positive fun and personal significance.
