One Hope unites area churches and non-profit agencies to cooperate with businesses in order to provide needs others may not be meeting. “Bags of Love” sends easy to fix food home with students each Friday who do not get enough to eat over the weekend. “Operation Hope” uses “Big White Trucks” to take food, clothing, home supplies, household items, and furniture on-site to where the need exists. It also hosts on-site classes to help train students in technology and mentor students who are struggling in school. Operation Hope provides on-site Recovery Groups for adults (Divorce Recovery, Good Sense Money Management, Breaking Free (various addiction groups), etc. “Kid’s Explosion” hosts on-site a weekly, interactive, and fun experience for K-5th graders. “J Club” gathers teens together at each site for a weekly club for middle and high school students.
