EVENTS
One Hope brings together churches, businesses and non-profits for free regional events held in the community for the community influencing the community to make it a better place to live, work and play. Every summer, just before school starts, “Uni-fest” unites area churches and non-profits to provide hundreds of back packs, school supplies, hair-cuts and a free afternoon of games and relational connecting. “Trunk or Treat” gives kids a safe place to enjoy Halloween as dozens of cars open their trunks filled with candy at a local K-Mart. “Gobble Walk” distributes free turkeys to homes who would not normally have meat on Thanksgiving Day. Sports, Rec. and Fine Arts gather students for unpressured fun designed to build character and help students make good choices through team events. It is an amazing site to see thousands of adults, children and teens gather for community events experiencing the unity of churches and other organizations working together to enrich their region.
